If marketing is only part of what’s piling up, an Executive Assistant covers the rest too: calendar, inbox, projects, and everything in between.
Testimonials

See how real leaders multiply their impact

I left my wife's ski boots in an airport. Suddenly my EA is  in contact with the airport, five couriers, and the airline. She's telling me five prices for different ways to fix it. I'm like, how has she done this already!?
Joey Garcia
Executive Director, Finance Industry
Athena has playbooks that make it feel like starting from first or second base instead of home plate. They bring best-in-class ways of doing things.

Real estate investor
We made $200,000 more last year, and I would say that that's a direct result of having Joanne as my EA.
Jacob Tingen
Managing Partner, Tingen Law
My Athena EA’s written English is equal to a native speaker. From the first week I had total confidence that she could adeptly answer my emails, as me, without a second thought.

FAQ

What does a marketing assistant do?
A marketing assistant handles the day-to-day execution behind a marketing program: publishing and scheduling content, building and sending email campaigns, updating SEO and website copy, tracking performance, and coordinating designers and freelancers. They own the recurring work so the person setting strategy is not also the one loading the calendar. At Athena, that assistant is a full-time, trained partner matched to your tools and cadence, not a per-task contractor.
Is this a marketer or an assistant?
Both, in the ways that matter. Your Marketing Assistant is trained as a marketing specialist who understands campaigns, channels, and what good looks like, while also handling the execution an assistant would own: the calendar, the sends, the follow-ups. If you need help beyond marketing specifically, an Executive Assistant covers the broader mix.
How is this different from a virtual marketing assistant or freelancer?
Marketplace hires are yours to vet, train, equip, and manage. An Athena Marketing Assistant is employed by Athena: selected from the top 1% of 30–60k monthly applicants, put through an in-person bootcamp, issued a secured Athena laptop, and supported by a Partnership Manager. Fixed price, no management overhead, no restart every time someone disappears.
How does Athena select and train them?
We receive 30–60k monthly applications and accept roughly 1%. Every candidate passes personality, cognitive, and English testing plus immersive training on real-world tasks. Marketing focused assistants add campaign, reporting, and content workflows on top of that foundation, and keep upskilling through Athena training programs.
What does onboarding look like, and how fast?
An intake survey on your delegation habits and stack, a 60 minute onboarding call to build your action plan, then a kickoff with your Marketing Assistant and Partnership Manager. From onboarding through kickoff, expect one to two weeks.
How is my data and account access protected?
Athena is SOC 2 Type II certified. Every assistant works on an Athena-issued, monitored device with remote-wipe capability, and dedicated InfoSec and IT teams manage access. Clients in regulated industries can review specific compliance requirements with their account team.
What if the fit is not right?
On rare occasions a partnership does not work out. Your Partnership Manager addresses concerns directly and, if things do not improve, matches you with a different Athena assistant. You are never left managing the problem alone.
